Who are our sessions for?

Our play environments have been designed by local parent artists. Our sessions are designed for young children and their families. They are open to all children and making them as accessible and welcoming to all is really important to us. If you or your child have any additional requirements, please let us know so that we can ensure our sessions are as accessible as possible. We’d love to have you!

What can I expect at a play session?

No two play sessions will ever look exactly the same since our play environments constantly evolve. Our ever-expanding selection of play materials are predominantly handmade by us, and sometimes the parents who come to our sessions!

When you arrive you will be greeted by a friendly Make Play team member who will show you where to go. Our sessions are completely child-led, children are free to explore the space in whichever way they choose and there are no set activities. The Make Play team are on hand to help if you have any questions, but otherwise, the space is yours for you and your child to explore together.

Anything else I need to know?

Our sessions are artistic interpretations of play with all provision handmade by our team. While everything in the sessions is safe and designed for children, there are potential risks due to the handmade and loose part play elements we include. Please ensure you supervise your child at all times.
